WebDAV is one of many cool features FatDisco offers. If you have a Linux OS and want to mount the FatDisco storage, you can do the following:

Install davfs2 WebDAV file system driver. For Debian family systems use this command:

root@host:~# apt-get install davfs2

For Fedora, CentOS use this command:

root@host:~# yum install davfs2

Edit the davfs2 secrets file and add your credentials

root@host:~# nano /etc/davfs2/secrets
...
https://sampleuser.fatdisco.com/remote.php/webdav sampleuser samplepassword

Create the mount point folder called “/fatdisco”

root@host:~# mkdir /fatdisco

Add an entry into the mount file

root@host:~# nano /etc/fstab
...
https://sampleuser.fatdisco.com/remote.php/webdav /fatdisco davfs user,rw,noauto 0 0

Mount your resource

root@host:~# mount /fatdisco

Browse the content

root@host:~# ls -la /fatdisco/
total 1731
drwxr-xr-x 9 root root 344 Aug 15 20:22 .
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Mar 2 2015 Documents
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1771241 Mar 2 2015 ownCloudUserManual.pdf
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Mar 2 2015 Photos

Unmount your resource

root@host:~# umount /fatdisco
