Are you trying to connect to FatDisco with the app and the device name just doesn’t work? Where here is what you may need to do.
If you see such an error while using our iOS application (iPad, iPhone), it is most probably caused by a special character or a space used in the “Name for this device” field.
You have two ways to fix this.
- You can reinstall the application and provide “Username”, “Password” and the corrected value of the “Name for this device” field.
- You can change the “Name for this device” value by selecting the “Settings” (gear icon), then pressing the information icon (‘i’ letter inside a circle) and updating the value.
We advise to use letters and numbers only. The name should also be a single word, i.e.: iPad, iPhone, iPad1, iPhone1, etc.
